2021

Subaru Shares the Love

Ciocca Subaru donated a combined $91,000 to two local charities as part of the Subaru Share the Love Event on Oct. 21. Valley Youth House received $64,391 to help its cause in supporting vulnerable, abused and homeless youth in the Lehigh Valley. An additional $27, 266 went to the Epilepsy Foundation of Eastern PA, which is on the forefront of finding a cure and overcoming challenges created by epilepsy.


Light the Night Walk

Ciocca Dealerships donated $50,000 and served as corporate sponsor of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Light the Night Walk at Allentown's Grange Park on Oct. 16. Ciocca employees and partners raised an additional $7,000 between the walk and happy hour raffle and auction held two weeks earlier at Jack Slice at Allentown Municipal Golf Course.

Subaru Loves Pets

Ciocca Subaru of Allentown held its annual Subaru Loves Pets Event at the dealership on Oct. 2. Local shelters Last Chance Ranch, Paws 2 Freedom and Harnessed to Hope were on hand with various animals eligible for adoption. The dealership was also collecging pet food and toys to provide to animals in need.

Corvette Toys For Tots Caravan

Ciocca Corvette hosted the 17th annual Toys For Tots Corvette Caravan in Atlantic City on Sept. 18. This year the caravan consisted of more than 500 Corvette owners from across the northeast, all of whom bring toys for the Marine Corps Toys For Tots drive. Thousands of toys were collected this year after the event was cancelled last year due to Covid.


Ciocca Provides Scholarships to Penn College

In September, Ciocca Dealerships established a scholarship at Pennsylvania College of Technology for students in two- and four-year automotive programs. The scholarships provide four $1,000 awards to students in the automotive technology associate and management degree programs. The scholarship announcement comes shortly after Ciocca Dealerships became a Corporate Tomorrow Maker partner at Penn College, a program designed to help local businesses collaborate with the college and its students.

Ciocca donates $51,000 to Susquehanna Health

In June, Ciocca Dealerships and Ciocca Toyota donated $51,048 to Susquehanna Health Foundation to provide hair-loss prevention to cancer patients. Ciocca was the lead donor among community members and businesses for the project, which will benefit patients at the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Williamsport. The donation will provide cooling caps to patients at no cost; these caps are an innovative new technology that provide targeted cooling that narrows the blood vessels of the scalp, reducing the likelihood of hair loss.

Toys For Tots

Ciocca Dealerships again teamed up with the Marine Corps Reserve to collect new, unwrapped toys for children during the holiday season. Donation boxes at all dealerships were filled with toys by employees and customers and collected on Dec. 11 by Bucks County Toys For Tots and Allentown Toys For Tots. Ciocca Dealerships is proud to continue this tradition of providing for children in need each holiday season.

Audi Women of Strength

Throughout August 2020, Audi Allentown partnered with Lehigh Valley Style for the publication's Women of Strength content series. The partnership was a benefit for Perfect Fit for Working Women, a local nonprofit dedicated to empowering women entering the workforce by providing career clothing and job readiness skills training. Every Friday in August, representatives from Lehigh Valley Style and Perfect Fit for Working Women were at Audi Allentown to collect items and provide thank you gifts from Audi Allentown.

First Responders Lunch

On June 17 and 18, Ciocca provided lunch for first responders in the Lehigh Valley. Take A Taco food truck came to Cetronia Ambulance on June 17 and to Lower Macungie Fire Company on June 18. The food truck was paid for by the sale of the Charcoal Drive-In sign; Ciocca purchased the property in December and sold the historic sign in the spring. "We are very pleased to be able to use the proceeds of the sign to give back in the community," Ciocca CEO Gregg Ciocca said.

Ciocca hosted Take A Taco again in August. On Aug. 25, Ciocca brought the truck to the Ciocca Corporate Center for Quakertown area first responders. Then on Aug. 26, brought it to LifeQuest Nursing Home in Quakertown for the facility's staff.


Ciocca Subaru Launches Food Pantry

Ciocca Subaru has teamed up with Subaru of America and Feeding America to help our local communities through the Love Promise Food Pantry. The mission is to help prevent hunger in our communities by providing a free food pantry where those in need can take what food they need. Ciocca Subaru has set up its pantry outside the main service entrance. If you or anyone you know are struggling, please feel free to give what you can or take what you need. And if you can give back, please leave some items for those in need during these difficult times. Special thanks to Nick Mann from Rustic Era by Nick Mann for building and donating our food pantry.

Ciocca Donates $25,000 to Jefferson Health

To help local healthcare workers battle COVID-19, Ciocca Dealerships contributed $25,000 to the Jefferson University Hospitals COVID-19 Better Together Fund in April. Jefferson Health's team of physicians and healthcare professionals include national experts who have decades of experience in caring for patients with infectious diseases. Ciocca Dealerships Donates to St. Isidore Food Pantry

Ciocca Dealerships again joined forces with the 1st Pennsylvania Mustang Club to raise $3,520 for the St. Isidore Food Pantry in Quakertown. Donations were received at the car shows throughout the year and matched by Ciocca Dealerships. A check was presented by Ciocca Dealerships staff to St. Isadore Food Pantry on Nov. 26 at the Ciocca Corporate Center.

Ciocca Donates to Williamsport K-9 Program

On Nov. 20, Ciocca Dealerships presented a check for $43,861 to the Williamsport Bureau of Police to purchase a dual-purpose narcotics dog for the new police canine unit. The new dog will be named Tacoma, and will revitalize the Williamsport Bureau of Police canine program.

"We're very pro-police in terms of protecting them and protecting the citizens in the community and I thought it was a win-win situation. The community is the ones that support us and we wanted to give back and support them," Ciocca Dealerships CEO Gregg Ciocca told WBRE.

Ciocca, Faulkner of West Chester Refurbish Car for Veteran

Faulkner Buick GMC and Ciocca Dealerships were on hand Nov. 7 at Progressive's Keys to Progress event, joining forces with the insurance company and other partners to donate a refurbished vehicle to a military veteran in need. Faulkner Collision, a partner of Ciocca Dealerships, repaired a Toyota Corolla that was presented to Air Force veteran Patrick Haggerty at Progressive's office in Malvern. In addition to the car, Progressive's partners in the campaign provided Haggerty with a six-month insurance policy, 12-month power train warranty and more than $1,500 in gift cards. This is the sixth year Faulkner Collision of West Chester has participated in the event

Ciocca Delivers Goods to Grays Ferry Community

Ciocca Dealerships delivered new coats and Giant gift cards to community leaders in Grays Ferry on Nov. 6. The coats were distributed to children in need in the area, and the gift cards were used to provide holiday meals for less fortunate families in the community. Ciocca also contributed $500 to the Grays Ferry Community Council's Holidays of Hope Campaign, which allows families in need to enjoy the holiday season by providing food, gifts and coats.

Subaru Loves Pets

Ciocca Subaru held its annual Subaru Loves Pets event on Oct. 23. The dealership collected pet supplies, welcomed pets available for adoption and offered other ways to help animals in need. Five local shelters were on hand: Harnessed to Hope Northern Breed Rescue, Starting Over Animal Rescue, Last Chance Ranch, Paws 2 Freedom and Pibbles Paws Safe Haven Dog Rescue. Since 2015, Subaru retailers have partnered with animal welfare organizations through the Subaru Loves Pets initiative to impact more than 144,000 animals in need across the United States.

Ciocca Subaru Partners with LLS

Ciocca Subaru held a wine and beer social on Oct. 17 to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Eastern Pennsylvania. The benefit, held at Lehigh Country Club, featured seasonal wine and beer tastings, live music and a silent auction, as well as guest speakers from the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, with $50 of each ticket and other proceeds from the event going directly to the LLS. The benefit comes a month after Ciocca Subaru had a large turnout at the Lehigh Valley Light the Night event, with more proceeds going to the LLS. Walkers in the event carry colored lanterns: white for survivors, red for supporters and yellow for those walking in memory of loved ones. Ciocca team members then put yellow and red hand prints on a Subaru Crosstrek, which was displayed at the social.

Ciocca Hyundai of Williamsport Donates Backpacks

Ciocca Hyundai of Williamsport in partnership with Hyundai purchased and hand-delivered school supplies for 210 students to the Eastern Lycoming YMCA on Aug. 8. The backpacks were filled with pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, notebooks and folders and delivered to students in Eastern Lycoming, Williamsport and Jersey Shore area schools. "A huge thank you to our friends Troy Love, Brian Lewis and the gang from Ciocca Hyundai of Williamsport," the YMCA shared on Facebook. "...We at Eastern Lycoming YMCA and River Valley Regional YMCA couldn't be happier to have you all on our team. I am predicting big things in our future as we work together to help our community become a little bit better and a little big stronger every day."

Ciocca Honda of Williamsport Gets Into Service Week

On June 9, Ciocca Honda of Williamsport took part in Honda's National Week of Service campaign. Associates from the dealership partnered with American Rescue Workers in Williamsport to clean, prep, landscape and paint the parking lot of their facility. American Rescue Workers is a faith based nonprofit organization providing homelessness and hunger prevention services in Lycoming County. The group cares for individuals who find themselves in an emergency or a homeless crisis by providing shelter and social services.

This is the fourth year that Honda and its business partners in North America conducted the Week of Service. Through this coordinated week of volunteer projects in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, Honda reinforces the spirit of working together to make a difference in the communities in which we live and work.

Ciocca Subaru Delivers Blankets to LVHN Cancer Institute

On June 25, Ciocca Subaru teamed up with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Eastern PA to deliver blankets and care cards to Lehigh Valley Health Network's Cancer Institute and Multipurpose Infusion Center in Allentown as part of Subaru's Loves to Care campaign. Hospital personnel will deliver the items to patients to use during treatment and checkup visits. This is the third year Ciocca Subaru has delivered the supplies to the hospital, visiting the center shortly after it opened in 2017.

Ciocca Dealerships Raises $75,000 at Run For Woods

Ciocca Dealerships raised more than $75,000 for Woods Services at the 5th annual Run for Woods on May 4. The 2019 5K run/walk saw the biggest turnout ever, with more than 1,100 people attending and more than $170,000 being raised. Ciocca Dealerships was again a presenting sponsor of the event. Ciocca Subaru led the team donations with 11,365, Ciocca Volkswagen raised 11,130 and Faulkner Buick GMC of West Chester raised $9,250.

Woods Services is a nonprofit organization that provides health, education, housing, workforce, behavioral health and case management to more than 4,000 children and adults who have complex and intensive medical and behavioral health care needs.

MB Flemington Donates $25,000 to Hospital

Mercedes-Benz of Flemington donated $25,000 to the Hunterdon Healthcare Foundation in April and will be sponsoring two major events with the hospital in May, with more to come later this year. On Thursday, May 9, the dealership will sponsor the inaugural Wine Women & Shoes event at Fiddler's Elbow Country Club. The second event is the 27th annual Hunterdon Golf Classic, also at Fiddler's Elbow, on Monday, May 13. For more information on the Golf Classic, visit hunterdongolfclassic.com.

The events support the Hunterdon Healthcare Foundation Special Needs Fund, which provides assistance for cancer and financially vulnerable patients.

Ciocca Subaru Gives Away Car to Blood Donor

Ciocca Subaru gave away a 2019 Subaru Impreza on Jan. 26 with help from the Miller-Keystone Blood Center and radio station 99.9 The Hawk. Contestants registered at various blood drives held by Miller-Keystone throughout the previous two months, and 10 finalists were selected at random from the 7,500 entries and invited to Ciocca Subaru for the final drawing.

Finalists chose a key when their name was picked, hoping to set off the car's alarm. It wasn't until the ninth finalist, Phillipsburg's Pamela Herbert, that the correct key was chosen to set off the car's alarm.

Run for Woods

The Ciocca Dealerships family was out in force on May 5, raising $73,000 during the 4th annual Run for Woods. The 5K run/walk benefits Woods Services, a nonprofit organization that provides health care, education, housing, and other essential services to more than 4,000 children and adults who have complex and intensive medical and behavioral health care needs.

Rescue 309

Ciocca Hyundai partnered with Last Chance Ranch and the Bucks County SPCA to host a pet adoption event at the dealership on Nov. 18, 2017. Ciocca Hyundai also collected food and toy donations for area pets in need.

Wheelz to Work

The Ciocca family of dealerships donated a car to the Bucks County Opportunity Council's Wheelz 2 Work program. This Hyundai Sonata was given to Ashley, who is a client in the Council's Economic Self-Sufficiency Program.
