Automotive News Features Ciocca for Kerbeck Acquisition

Ciocca Dealerships was highlighted by Automotive News after the group purchased the Kerbeck group's Atlantic City dealerships on June 30. Included in the acquisition was the world-famous Kerbeck Corvette, which was recognized as the world's largest Corvette dealership for 27 consecutive years. Now Ciocca Corvette of Atlantic City, the dealership sold about 1,600 Corvette's last year. Automotive News interviewed Ciocca founder and CEO Gregg Ciocca for the article, which highlighted the group's recent growth and humble beginnings.
"It's an iconic acquisition, once in a lifetime," Ciocca said. "We feel very fortunate that they selected us and we're able to carry it on. They're big shoes to fill, and we want to make them proud and we want to do just a great job with the franchise here."

CIOCCA ACQUIRES 3 NEW STORES IN ATLANTIC CITY

Ciocca Dealerships acquired three new dealerships in Atlantic City, once again expanding the reach of the organization. The group acquired the dealerships from the Kerbeck Family: Kerbeck Chevrolet Buick GMC of Atlantic City, Kerbeck Cadillac of Atlantic City and the world-famous Kerbeck Corvette. All three dealerships are located on a single campus along North Albany Avenue in Atlantic City.
The acquisitions bring the total number of Ciocca's dealerships to 24 with 16 unique brands, including the group's first Cadillac dealership. In December 2020, we acquired Ciocca Subaru of Pleasantville, also formerly Kerbeck, just outside of Atlantic City. For more information on the acquisition, click here.
CIOCCA CONTINUES TO CLIMB NATIONAL DEALER RANKINGS

Ciocca Dealerships has climbed the Automotive News Top 150 dealer group rankings once again. The group moved up from number 98 to 93 in the 2020 rankings, which were released in the magazine's April edition. The rankings are based on new-vehicle retail sales units from the previous year. Ciocca sold 9,926 new vehicles and 11,395 used vehicles in 2020, contributing to the group's nearly $900 million in gross revenue for the year.
Two dealerships were added by Ciocca in 2020, bringing the group total to 21 dealerships. Ciocca Nissan of Quakertown in January and Ciocca Subaru of Pleasantville in December. Ciocca cracked the top 100 last year after record growth; the six new dealerships added by Ciocca in 2019 was tied for second-most in the nation.
CIOCCA SUBARU OPENS PRE-OWNED CENTER

Ciocca Subaru of Allentown opened its all-new pre-owned center across Hamilton Boulevard from the main showroom. The building was previously the Charcoal Drive-In, which was purchased by Ciocca Dealerships late in 2019. The area has been transformed into a pre-owned lot for Ciocca Subaru that will house the dealership's non-certified pre-owned inventory. The building's hours are the same as the main showroom: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday; and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.
CIOCCA FORD OF SOUDERTON WINS PRESIDENT'S AWARD

Ford announced in March that Ciocca Ford of Souderton has been awarded the President's Award for 2020. The prestigious award was only given to 10 percent of Ford dealers across the country. To be eligible for the award, a dealership must receive the highest customer satisfaction based on surveys and reputation scoring in both sales and service and be in the top 5 percent of Ford dealers in sales efficiency. Ciocca Ford of Souderton also won the award in 2016.
CIOCCA HONDA WINS FIFTH PRESIDENT'S AWARD

Ciocca Honda of Harrisburg has earned the prestigious 2020 President's Award from the Honda Motor Co. once again. The dealership has won the award five times overall, with 2020 being the fourth straight year the store was earned the accolade. Each year the Honda President's Award is given to the premier Honda dealers that excel in sales experience, sales performance, service performance and business operations.

CIOCCA ACQUIRES SUBARU DEALERSHIP IN NEW JERSEY

Ciocca Dealerships added its 21st dealership to the group on Dec. 11 with the addition of Ciocca Subaru of Pleasantville. The dealership, located just outside Atlantic City, was purchased from the Kerbeck Auto Group and is Ciocca's second Subaru dealership. Ciocca announced last winter plans to build Ciocca Subaru of Philadelphia, which is anticipated to open in 2021. Ciocca Subaru of Pleasantville is Ciocca's 12th new dealership since November 2017.

CIOCCA CLIMBS NATIONAL DEALER RANKINGS

Ciocca Dealerships again climbed the annual Automotive News list of the top 150 dealer groups in the nation. Ciocca rose nine spots to No. 98 in the 2019 rankings, cracking the top 100 for the first time. The group saw unprecedented growth in 2019; the six new stores added was tied for the second-most in the nation. Ciocca added stores in Williamsport in March 2019 and State College in October. Ciocca Nissan of Quakertown opened in December 2019 but new car sales began in January.
Ciocca also moved up the Automotive News rankings for used car dealers. In April, the group came in at No. 74 on the publication's top-100 used vehicle retailers in the nation, up 19 spots from 2018.
MERCEDES-BENZ OF FLEMINGTON WINS 2ND STRAIGHT GOLD LAUREL

For the second straight year, Mercedes-Benz of Flemington has earned Best of the Best Gold Laurel status from Mercedes-Benz, the pinnacle of achievement for a Mercedes-Benz dealer. The yearly honors are given to a select group of dealers across the nation which excel in a variety of statistical areas based on sales volume. Only 12 dealers out of 85 in the Northeast Region received Gold Laurel honors, and 52 of the 370 dealers across the country. Last year, Mercedes-Benz of Flemington earned Gold Laurel status only six months after Ciocca Dealerships purchased the dealership.
CIOCCA OPENS NEW NISSAN DEALERSHIP IN QUAKERTOWN

Ciocca Dealerships welcomed its 20th member to the family when Ciocca Nissan of Quakertown opened its doors on Route 309. The dealership is taking over the building formerly occupied by the used car department of Ciocca Hyundai of Quakertown at 520 S. West End Blvd. in Quakertown. The building will undergo physical transformations in the coming weeks to closer resemble the rendering. Ciocca Nissan of Quakertown is the eighth dealership to join Ciocca Dealerships in 2019 after the group acquired four stores in Williamsport in March and three in State College in October. Since November 2017, Ciocca has more than doubled in size from nine dealerships to 20. The 21st agency, Ciocca Subaru of Philadelphia is expected to open in the fall of 2020.
REYNOLDS COMPLETES SENIOR MASTER TRAINING

Joel Reynolds of Ciocca Ford of Quakertown was recently recognized for achieving his status of Ford senior master technician after completing years-long training. Reynolds is a team leader at Ciocca Ford of Quakertown and has been with the company for more than 22 years. Mark Winther, field service engineer for the Ford Philadelphia Region joined the Ciocca management team in presenting Reynolds with his plaque.
CIOCCA ACQUIRES 3 NEW STORES IN STATE COLLEGE

Ciocca Dealerships officially acquired three new stores in State College: Mercedes-Benz of State College, Audi State College and Ciocca Volkswagen of State College, all of which are located on a campus together at the intersection of W College Avenue and W Whitehall Road. The dealerships were previously operated by State College Motors. Included in the acquisition is a Sprinter van franchise.
The acquisition brings the Ciocca family of dealerships to 19. In the last 23 months, Ciocca Dealerships has nearly doubled in size; during that time the group has added 10 new stores representing eight manufacturers in five markets across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In addition to the new locations, Ciocca already has relationships with the three manufacturers through other dealerships in the group: Mercedes-Benz of Flemington, Audi Allentown and Ciocca Volkswagen of Allentown.
CIOCCA NAMED TOP 3 DEALER IN LEHIGH VALLEY

Ciocca Dealerships was named among the top three dealerships in the Lehigh Valley in September by Lehigh Valley Business. Every year, the publication releases a Reader Rankings edition and the 2019 rankings saw Ciocca appear in the auto dealer category for a second straight year. Lehigh Valley Business received more than 24,000 votes from readers to select the finest businesses in the Lehigh Valley this year. The finalists were honored at a banquet on Oct. 2 at SteelStacks in Bethlehem.
CIOCCA HYUNDAI WINS BOARD OF EXCELLENCE AWARD AGAIN

Ciocca Hyundai has won its fourth Board of Excellence Award in the past five years. Each year, Hyundai honors about 20 dealers with this award for sales efficiency, volume or HMF volume. Ciocca Hyundai has been one of the top five dealers in the nation for sales efficiency in the last four years with a 376 percent sales efficiency rating. The award also comes with an all-expenses-paid trip as long as the dealership is compliant with customer sales and service review standards and CPO objectives.
AUDI ALLENTOWN HOLDS RED-CARPET GRAND OPENING

Audi Allentown held a red-carpet grand opening celebration for the newly completed facility Aug. 8. Rare Audi vehicles were on display and guests enjoyed live music and refreshments. Joining the Ciocca family in cutting the ceremonial ribbon were Ellen Kern, chief of staff for state Senator Pat Browne; state Representative Ryan Mackenzie; and Frank Facchiano, chief operating officer of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Audi Allentown's new showroom officially opened Dec. 1, but landscaping and other work to the grounds were unable to be completed until this spring and summer.
CIOCCA CHEVROLET OF WEST CHESTER HAS GRAND OPENING

Ciocca Chevrolet of West Chester celebrated its grand opening and unveiled its new Ciocca signage after joining the Ciocca family in late 2018. The dealership had games, food and prizes for the public to enjoy. Radio station 102.9 MGK was also on hand with live broadcasts, and the grand prize giveaway was a week's vacation at a beach house in Ocean City, New Jersey. Joining Ciocca founder and CEO Gregg Ciocca and general manager Eric Narodovich in cutting the ceremonial ribbon was Mark Yoder, CEO of the West Chester Chamber of Commerce. Ciocca Chevrolet of West Chester, formerly Reedman-Toll Chevrolet of Exton and Roberts Chevrolet, opened its doors at the new location in the Westtown Autopark in December 2018. The store was the 12th new-car dealership in the Ciocca family.
CIOCCA HONDA WINS SECOND STRAIGHT PRESIDENT'S AWARD

For the second straight year, Ciocca Honda of Harrisburg qualified for Honda's prestigious President's Award. The list of award winners was announced earlier this year. Ciocca Honda was one of 173 dealers nationwide and one of only four in the district to hit the award, which is given to the top 10 percent of Honda dealers. To qualify, dealerships must finish above average in a multitude of categories, including customer service, retail sales effectiveness and dealership profitability.
CIOCCA CRACKS TOP USED CAR DEALERS LIST

Ciocca Dealerships again cracked an Automotive News top dealership list. In late April, the publication came out with its list of top 100 used car dealers in the nation, based on used vehicle sales. Making its first appearance on the list, Ciocca Dealerships came in at 93. Ciocca finished 2018 with 7,794 used retail unit sales, up from 6,393 in 2017.
CIOCCA EXPRESS SERVICE NOW OPEN

The all-new Ciocca Express Service, a 7-day-a-week quick service facility, opened its doors on April 1. The $2 million project features five bays that provide service to all makes and models. Primary services include oil change, tire rotation, tire replacement, radiator service, battery service, light bulb service, wipers, air filter replacement and cabin filter replacement.
The service center, located at 4661 Hamilton Boulevard in Allentown beside Ciocca Subaru, is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
CIOCCA ACQUIRES FOUR STORES IN WILLIAMSPORT

Ciocca Dealerships is proud to announce the acquisition of four new dealerships and its expansion into northern Pennsylvania. The new stores-BMW of Williamsport, Ciocca Honda of Williamsport, Ciocca Hyundai of Williamsport and Ciocca Toyota of Williamsport-were purchased from the Fairfield Auto Group in Muncy and are located on Lycoming Mall Drive off Interstate 180. The acquisition of the new stores brings Ciocca's total to 16 dealerships across Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
AUTOMOTIVE NEWS NAMES CIOCCA IN TOP 110 DEALERSHIPS

On March 25, Automotive News published its list of the top 150 largest auto retail groups in the United States ranked by unit sales of new vehicles in 2018. Ciocca Dealerships was ranked 107 in the country with more than 21,000 total units. Last year, Ciocca came in at 120 on the list; the 13-spot gain is tied for the third largest rank change in the United States.
CEO and founder Gregg Ciocca said in a letter to employees, "The success of our dealership group is due to the hard work of our associates. This achievement squarely reflects the time, effort, and dedication each of you put in."
MORNING CALL TABS CIOCCA AS TOP WORKPLACE AGAIN

Ciocca Dealerships was ranked 11th among the medium employers category in the 2019 Morning Call Lehigh Valley Top Workplaces. The award banquet was held at SteelStacks in Bethlehem on Wednesday, March 6.

After only 6 months under the Ciocca Dealerships family, Mercedes-Benz of Flemington earned Best of the Best Gold Laurel status from Mercedes-Benz. Gold Laurel was only achieved by five Mercedes-Benz dealerships out of the 89 in Flemington's volume group, and only 52 dealers nationwide received Gold Laurel awards this year. Flemington also received the honors for the new sales manager and pre-owned sales manager positions.
CIOCCA CHEVROLET OF WEST CHESTER BEGINS OPERATION

Ciocca Chevrolet of West Chester officially opened for business on Thursday, Dec. 13 with final approval from General Motors. The new dealership is located in the Westtown Autopark in West Chester directly beside Ciocca-partnered Faulkner Buick GMC Isuzu. The dealership was formerly Reedman-Toll Chevrolet of Exton and Roberts Chevrolet but has been moved to 715 Autopark Boulevard in West Chester upon being purchased by Ciocca Dealerships.

CIOCCA NOMINATED FOR FORD SALUTE TO DEALERS

Ciocca Dealerships and CEO and founder Gregg Ciocca have been nominated to the 2019 group of Ford's Salute To Dealers program. Salute To Dealers is a company-wide initiative that recognizes and honors Ford and Lincoln dealer principals who generously dedicate their time and resources to improve the lives of those in need.
This year, 65 nominations were received from all over the globe. A panel of independent judges from a variety of backgrounds selected the six final honorees based on the dealer's activities, length of participation and personal involvement. AUDI ALLENTOWN SHOWROOM OPENS FOR BUSINESS

Audi Allentown's new showroom opened after a year of construction at its Hamilton Boulevard location, with initial construction beginning last fall. The 43,000-square-foot, multimillion-dollar facility features state-of-the-art technology accessories in its large showroom, two-story administrative and sales offices, a luxurious customer lounge and a drive-thru service area. Both entrances to Audi Allentown on Schantz Road and Hamilton Boulevard are accessible to the public.

AUDI ALLENTOWN CONSTRUCTION CONTINUES TO PROGRESS

After months of work, Audi's trademark siding has gone up around the service area. There has also been considerable progress to the inside of the building, with the conical feature and upstairs balcony taking shape. Construction of Audi Allentown, which is located beside Ciocca Subaru on Hamilton Boulevard, began earlier this year and is expected to finish in the coming weeks.

LVB ranked Ciocca Dealerships as the eighth largest privately-held company in the Lehigh Valley area, the only automotive dealer to make the top 100 list. The business profile, details the success and expansion of Ciocca since the company's first new-car dealership, Ciocca Ford of Quakertown, opened in 1993. And in LVB's 2018 reader rankings, Ciocca Dealerships is ranked as one of the top three auto dealers in the Lehigh Valley.

CIOCCA DEALERSHIPS ACQUIRES MERCEDES-BENZ OF FLEMINGTON

Ciocca Dealerships, named earlier this year as one of the Top 120 automobile sales organizations in the nation, is growing again with the acquisition of Mercedes-Benz of Flemington.
Founder and CEO Gregg Ciocca signed the deal Monday, June 11 to acquire the boutique dealership. Ciocca promises to maintain the same quality sales and service Mercedes-Benz of Flemington customers are used to receiving.
"This is our second dealership in New Jersey and we are thrilled with the way we have been welcomed to the Garden State," said Ciocca, who acquired Ciocca Chevrolet of Princeton in 2017. "This merger with Mercedes-Benz of Flemington gives us more opportunities to serve and grow in this market and I look forward to meeting our new customers and helping them get to know us better."
With the addition of Mercedes-Benz of Flemington, the Ciocca family of dealerships now accounts for nearly $1 billion in annual sales, employs more than 800 people and have satisfied countless customers throughout eastern Pennsylvania and beyond.
FORD HONORS CIOCCA FOR 25TH ANNIVERSARY

Ford presented Ciocca Ford of Quakertown with a plaque on June 4 in honor of the dealership's 25th anniversary. The dealership opened on Feb. 8, 1993, beginning its long-standing partnership with the manufacturer.

Dignitaries from the Princeton, New Jersey, area made their way to Ciocca Chevrolet of Princeton on Saturday, June 2 to celebrate the store's grand opening. CIOCCA HYUNDAI NETS ANOTHER BOARD OF EXCELLENCE AWARD

Ciocca Hyundai has won a third Board of Excellence Award in the past four years. Each year, Hyundai honors about 20 dealers with this award for sales efficiency, volume, or HMF volume. Ciocca Hyundai has been one of the top five dealers in the nation for sales efficiency in the last four years with a 376 percent sales efficiency rating. The award also comes with an all-expenses-paid trip as long as the dealership is compliant with customer sales and service review standards and CPO objectives.
The award was presented to Pete Boyce, Ciocca Hyundai general manager.
CIOCCA DEALERSHIPS RECEIVES MEMIC AWARD FOR SAFETY

Ciocca Dealerships made history by earning a Memic Award for Safety for 2017, marking the first time an auto dealer group has received the award. Every year, Memic, a worker's compensation insurance specialist company, presents eight companies with this honor out of the 20,000-plus clients it has, and Ciocca Dealerships was one of only two companies on the East Coast to receive the award. The award honors outstanding performance by a company in protecting its employees and customers. To win, a company must show a concerted effort to enact and enforce safety policies and then must show results.

Who's Who in Business is an annual scientific survey that reaches out to thousands of local residents to ask about their experiences and uses that information to determine which businesses and organizations have fostered positive consumer relationships over the years by providing valuable services and a commitment to quality.

CIOCCA FORD OF SOUDERTON WINS 2016 PRESIDENT'S AWARD

The Ford President's Award is given to Ford dealerships which have shown the highest levels of customer satisfaction for the year. Only 5 percent of Ford dealerships in the country receive this prestigious award. Ford customers are surveyed about their vehicle buying and owning experience, and only those dealerships that can deliver on top service make the cut.
A description of the award from Ford reads, "In order to achieve the President's Award, dealers must exceed customer expectations every day in every department. The pursuit of excellence requires passion, tenacity and hard work. The award salutes those top-performing Ford and Lincoln dealerships that embrace these philosophies, achieving among the highest levels of customer satisfaction in both sales and service in automotive retailing."
